EXPLORATION | phase two Spatial concepts The formation of the whole from the innumerable singular pieces that differ in form, function, material and size, come from a deep thought about the essence of the house and the places that constitute it. Following the reasoning of places of utopian atmosphere, the result of both the work space and the social space of the house, carry the atmosphere of maintenance and are points of coexistence in the object with the place.
DEPURATION | phase 3 The Search for Essence The concept arises from a restoring axis of the city-river relationship that, simultaneously with the pre-existing structure, creates the habitable space. After a process of unceasing exploration of the parallelism between spatial qualities and function, we enter into a moment of purification, through the search for the essence. Each space is born of the individual - place - function relationship, generating atmospheric auras that define the place itself. The correlation between the architecture and the natures of the individual relative to their primordial needs is sought. In this way, a course of constraints and amplitudes is conceived that foment the connection of the individual to the place, looking for a synthetic answer to the five spaces in exploration. The articulation of the conceived spatial concepts reveals adaptations to the pre-existence, supported in five fundamental foundations that refer to the timelessness of the dwelling. The intention is to create a route with genesis on arrival as a host, followed by a transition to a private space of housing, giving predominance to comfort, identity and intimacy. The end point is defined as the essence of the social space, a welcome of a defiance that fosters the meeting and the council.
