A collaborative platform.
For the soon to be masters.

Let us Introduce ourselves,

The Archiologist is a collaborative platform that showcases worldwide architecture student projects and ideas through printed and digital curated content. We offer articles, talks, tools, and magazines to further explore and understand design.

— WHO WE ARE

We are young professionals and students situated in different parts of the world. We curate student projects for their online and editorial publishing.

— OUR MISSION

Via our platform, we aim to create a space where students and young professionals can get recognition for their work, ideas, and concepts. To achieve this, we create an archive of information that is helpful not only to students, but for young professionals and firms to look through. This information is organized by categories, tags, and keywords, that help you narrow exactly what you’re looking for.

— OUR VISION

Our vision is to fill the gap between famous architects and young students. To create and promote design and architecture public engagement around the world. To connect design students and young professionals with each other. It’s time that students and young professionals get a place to submit their content for the world to see.

“You’re only one step away from getting recognized.”

“The Archiologist started as a blog for my photographs and travel visits. Immediately after its conception, a couple of students contacted me about sharing their thesis work on the blog. It was a pretty usual request, but it opened my eyes to the major problem at hand. Students did not have a place to share their work on. After doing some research, I realized that there were thousands of blogs on the architecture masters such as Gehry, Zaha, and Corbu. And very little on how they even came to be recognized. From that moment on, I knew what The Archiologist had to become: a platform for students to share their work and be recognized, because soon enough they will become those great masters.” — Maria Flores, The Archiologist Founder

Steffania Rivera

Editor, Designer

Steffania is currently a student at Florida International University, where she is a junior in Architecture. She has a lot of knowledge in Interior Architecture and Interior Design, having taken some courses from that specific program. With that knowledge, she brings a whole new face to the team. She is also very good with public relations and is definitely not afraid to call and ask!

Her design philosophy is situated in between modern and brutalist, with a bit of De Stijl movement in it. She takes inspiration from those movements for all her design projects. At The Archiologist, she helps with the editing of the magazines, as well as maintaining a beautiful aesthetic within our Instagram.
