363 / Matteo Gawlak, Riccardo Gialloreto, Eren Gazioglu, and Cristiano Gerardi: Resilient City
Matteo Gawlak, Riccardo Gialloreto, Eren Gazioglu, and Cristiano Gerardi from Maglie , Italy; “We are a team having a global scope to move architecture into a field that has been largely unexplored, a pragmatic utopian architecture that wants to link the present with future need in a digital tech formalism. New technologies and industrial advancement have designed a new global system increasingly digital and standardized. We want to link architecture with this modern ecosystem, a phy-gital prototype that can answer the industrial serial production with a tech-digital environment.”

Name of Project: Resilient City
Project Description: Evolve and adapt urbanity to the new natural conditions and climate-changing: a wireframe ecosystem that creates a new reality above old cities. Allow nature to follow its process and reclaim its space. Introduce a new idea of resiliency that is not only related to the landscape but to the architecture and way to build itself. The scaffolding structure creates a new infrastructure with virgin lands that can be colonized and shaped according to the needs and the function. Rebuild the city of tomorrow on the different planes, giving back to nature the space of the ground, and let it grow vertically together with the new cities: the new resilient design to build the city of the future.
