The project combines both the lookout and bathing station into one formal gesture rising out of the water. The height of the lookout tower is determined by the former water level of the Dead Sea, before industrial and agricultural use of the water caused a water level drop of a drastic 1m/year. The lookout provides views of the dry sea bed nearby, framing the effects of the water level drop on the Dead Sea region.
