Project Description: STRICKBAU - "knitted construction" Peter Zumthor creates a seamless connection to this remote site through knitted wood construction between an existing original 1708 cabin and the 1994 addition. Located in Versam Switzerland, Zumthor is careful to preserve the existing building and landscape through his use of detailed joinery, selection of wood, and signature “knitted” approach. Hand made wood model by Drew Pederson and Daniel Anderi.
