Submission #186 | Munjer Hashim: Plant 34 — Plant 34 is a project which takes on the real-world scenario of drought and future water shortage that is a current issue in New York State and creates a hybrid program which solves the issues conceptually. The project argues that in the future, an increase in population and yearly droughts will place such a strain on the current water reserves, that the need for other sources of water within Manhattan must be established.

However, his whole life was a passionate for plants. "It's time to build my dream," he told me. Mr. Sato wants to meet people with the same interest. He wishes to offer them different spaces where they can share. He needs to live surrounded by those natural beings that make him happy."
Edward Radev: Homi(num)reditus — The gallery spaces from the original proposal and new proposal will intertwine to create a transition between two worlds. The academy itself is set in the near future where extraterrestrial life is being explored. The academy being a center for research of extraterrestrial plant species and how they can be used to create architecture that can be grown.
