Submission #381 | Andreas Tsenis: Split — “The proposed St. Clair Nature Center explores the concept of a cellular architectural form, primarily exploring the ideas “to Split”. The overall proposal features 7 buildings that are organized programmatically to remain distinct entities while sharing similar relationship together. The overall form was sequentially positioned to follow not only the solar and wind orientation of the site, but also defining the relationship between nature and occupiable spaces through the use of wall extensions and building gaps.”

Submission #133 | James Frolow: Elevare Apartments — "Elevare Apartments on Pulteney St aims to seduce the public with generous openings to the ground level markets. It incorporates roof terraces inspired by Japanese architecture as relief space for the users. The design was adapted to follow the suns orientation to maximise daylight access throughout the structure. The market space below features a cafe with outdoor seating with a spacious atmosphere."

Graham Rose: Shifting Spirals — Essentially we had to create a folly that was semi habitable for people or any creature depending on your design. We had to utilize two design approaches that we had been working with all semester. The project was initially limited to an 18’x18’x18’ cube but we were allowed to break the barrier if it was necessary and made sense.
