Submission #292 | Michael Willhoit: Spelunk'd — “Within a 50'x50'x50' cube, two playful programs combine and collide to create an arena for leisure. Cave diving was the inspiration for Spelunk'd, with caverns and crevices both inside and out, punctuated by folding forms of relaxation. The space hangs above the ground with irregular vaults, but invites with punctures in its flow.”

Submission #197 | Nick Rossitch: Pool House — "The concept for Pool House, a retreat home, comes from the pastime of playing billiards. It is derived from the path a pool ball takes on the billiards table. The idea is to have the interior circulation mimic a similar movement that a pool ball would take within the boundaries of this pure form of a cube as seen on the exterior of the structure."

Graham Rose: Shifting Spirals — Essentially we had to create a folly that was semi habitable for people or any creature depending on your design. We had to utilize two design approaches that we had been working with all semester. The project was initially limited to an 18’x18’x18’ cube but we were allowed to break the barrier if it was necessary and made sense.
