Many of them are located in the suburban regions of Silicon Valley where they are in the process of building large, symbolic corporate headquarters. The Silicon Valley sites of these headquarters lack the public amenities of traditional cities that are deemed highly desirable to their workforce”

Submission #209 | Kevin Garcia: The Isola Apartments — "The Isola Apartments is a Mixed-Use 104 unit residential project located in Salt Lake City, Utah. “Isola” is an Italian word that is defined as an island or a set of islands, and can most notably be seen through the concept of having two building masses rising from the streets of Salt Lake City. The building and site is designed to react to 3 main site considerations. #1 Providing the area with much needed green and public space. #2 Reacting to the adjacent UTA (Utah Public Transit System) and providing circulation space. #3 Directing occupants towards views of downtown Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Mountain Range."
Submission #123 | Damaris Vicente: Dreamlike Cultural Center — With the intention of taking a cultural center to a forgotten area of Recife. The theme used in the room was "City over town" and the party for the project was Penrose, with a cyclical idea of space, beginning middle and end. This model summarizes our 4 months of hard work.
Submission #109 | Jasper Gregory: Vanishing Indexicality — The task of this project was to choose an original floor plan of a house, index it via diagrams, then transgress the diagrams into a 3D model. The requirements also consisted of choosing a dress from the designer Issey Miyake, produce drawings and then create a 3D digital model.

Andrea Bulloni and Enrico Bertonazzi: Dwelling Monza — The public space is designed to keep the visual connection through all the space although have different levels of privacy, the central space is lowered and it's the heart of the project. Neighbourhood activities are facing the central plaza and a series of stairs and ramps allows people to switch from the central plaza to the commercial old volumes.
Jorge Olano: Gardeniers Oliver — The old school Ramon J. Sender is rehabilitated as school gardening for ATADES association, and as a space available to neighborhood activities. This operation is associated with urban voids due to its new use as agricultural soil.
