OrganiStation orbits on LEO, its design facilitates the flow of incoming patients and those who are ready to depart.”

Submission #309 | Victor Moldoveanu: The Ministry of Ocean Wisdom — “Inspired by Jules Verne’s "In Search of the Castaways" where heroes travel the oceans of the world to find and save the lost crew, The Ministry of Ocean Wisdom occupies 20,000 square kilometres of the Danish Territorial Waters of the Jutland Peninsula. Embracing the foreseeable sea-level rise, The Ministry of Ocean Wisdom is a project showing a model of embracing ocean level rise and consequently taking up life on water.”

Ironically, little attention has been paid to the form and shape of data centers, Iceland’s newest rapidly developing crop, which often combines geothermal dynamics with information architecture to be housed in gigantic volumes.”
Submission #257 | Zahid Ajam: Redrawing East Harlem — “Through analyzing the urban fabric, a block of NYCHA properties seemed to divide East Harlem into two halves. These NYCHA developments follow the model of the tower in the park where the park was intended to become a public social space. Over time it was considered an unsuccessful model since attempting to become everyone’s space, the park became no man’s land as no one took ownership of it.”

The Schiatti company, has had for years a key role in Lentate community and is deeply rooted in the heart of every citizen. The quality of its textile production finds voice in TEXTILIA: as the Jacquard loom wove strings of silk to get an extraordinary weft, the project intersects several functions, public spaces, private and commercial, to achieve a high quality of living.
Submission #196 | Silvia Lucchetta: Linear Landscapes — "Tourism and its understandings have most certainly been a delicate matter of debate in countries such as Spain, which has been ranking among the top destinations for several years already. Not only does tourism shape the economy of the place but it also affects the way locals live and the way the same place evolves. It is a complex phenomenon that varies according to many external factors and cannot be understood in one simple way."
Submission #98 | Jose Lacruz Vela: Vallehermoso Market Rehabilitation — The project explores the conjunction between skin and use, through the restoration of an old market in Madrid. Undertaking the need of food production within cities, while generating a new public space, intertwined with a farm and an enclosed market.
Kaley Overstreet, Kyle Zook, Enio Dajko: Animal House — Our project, situated on the corner of 135th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem, NY, explores a voyeuristic idea of how life in New York City acts as a “sitcom” performance within an 8-unit apartment complex. By using animals or various sizes as a parti of scale, we were able to create identifiable units that differ in size, location within the building, and match the personified traits and possessions of each animal.
Caleb Baldwin and Faiza Mehmood: Transparent Hutong — The transparent hutong is a proposal for the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022 which puts forward an iconic, historical Chinese urban design strategy in current day context by the use of new parametric zoning and a play on transparency through projections and connectivity - an aspect in high demand in our time.
