Submission #382 | Eric Peters and Alex Storz: Institute for Film — “Through investigations of formal interpretations of cinematic terminology, we developed a proposal for an Institute for Film, located in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana. The film's experience at its core is storytelling. Through the use of perspectival shifts and conceal/reveal, plots and subplots unfold before you. As we combined such cinematic elements, our concept emerged as “Suspension of Disbelief.”

But what do we mean when we talk about reurbanisation? In our work, we interpret »reurbanisation« as the endeavor to reintegrate the functionally segregated city and the coexistence within it that have been lost as a result. In Bonns’ topographical and administrative heart lies the »Stadthaus« [City Hall].”

Using culture as a resource of various countries as a commodity of living. Fundamentally, rice has become a symbol of daily essentially of living across Asia and Europe. My Pulpit will become a monumental celebratory fort that functions as an integral communal gathering space for eating and offering a conversation space for lounging.”

Implementing a "vast forrest" with new urban form typologies across the cities skyline. Letting the architecture be influenced by the typologies of the trees and its structural diversity. This project was a group urban design project of “super- studio”. The whole semester is dedicat- ed in urban scale design projects and quick projects where we intervene with a logical concept for sites around Toronto."
